Obedience

Grammy Nominee Jonathan Butler sang his newly released song, “I stand on your promise” that set the tone for the Word of God from Bishop Charles E. Blake who taught  on the subject matter of “Obedience.”  Bishop  Blake says, “We ought to STRIVE to please God and the only way to do that is to be obedient.”

Listen below for a snippet of this dynamic reminder of what God is looking for from us.

Presidential Election

With just a few blessed days left until the presidential election, Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama are close to neck-and-neck as a presidential election can get.  Both President Obama and Governor Romney have a focus on early voting, hoping to sway those last precious few undecided voters their way in a decision that will come down to the wire.

Bishop Charles E. Blake encourages each person of voting age to discuss matters of politics with their Pastors and/or Ministry Leaders.  The bible says in Proverbs 12:15 that “…a wise man seeks counsel” and in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, we are to “pray for our governing leaders.”  In all decisions you are encouraged to seek counsel and a revelation from the Lord on a choice that may impact your future for years to come!
