introduce themselves, or get involved?” While some parents may think parental involvement or influence in their child’s “youth church” is not a matter of great importance, the truth is parents have the most influence on and in the lives of their child….

Bishop Joe L. Ealy will convene the 99th Annual Holy Convocation of the Church Of God In Christ First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Southern California on Monday, June 17, through Sunday, June 23.
Evening services on June 17-19 will be held at Carson Community Center, 801 East Carson Street in Carson at 7 p.m. The speakers are Superintendent Antwan Powels, Superintendent Garon Harden and Bishop Ron M. Gibson, respectively.
On June 20-21, evening services will be held at West Angeles Church of God In Christ North Campus, 3045 South Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles at 7 p.m. Bringing the Word will be Superintendent Jeffrey M. Lewis and Bishop Frank A. White, respectively.
The Youth Service is on June 22, at 7 p.m., at Gospel Memorial Church Of God In Christ, 1480 Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach. The speaker will be Evangelist Barbara Bryant.
Day sessions on June 17, 18 and 21 begin at 9 a.m., at Gospel Memorial. On June 20, Mother Barbara McCoo-Lewis, Assistant General Supervisor, will host the Women’s Day services at 9 a.m., in the West Angeles North Campus sanctuary. Also, on June 20, at 10 a.m., Bishop Ealy will hold the Bishop’s Council in the West Angeles Crystal Room.
The Official Day Service is set for Sunday, June 23, at 3 p.m., at the West Angeles Cathedral, 3600 South Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles. Bishop Joe L. Ealy will deliver the sermon.
