5 Infused Water Blends to Hydrate You – Rosemary, raspberries, and blueberries combine with cold spring water for a refreshing mix.

WATER.  We need it.  We’re made from it (about 60%!). So often our health can be improved dramatically, and our weight would be reduced drastically just by drinking more of it. But oftentimes, we just don’t like it, and find all sorts of reasons to avoid it.

Enter: water-fruit infusions!  They’re perfect for fasting when we’re encouraged to eliminate sugary beverages from our diets, and to increase our water intake.

With refreshing combinations like these, you’ll never go back to sodas!

5 Delicious Infused Water Blends

  1.  Lime slices + Mint + Ginger + Sparkling spring water
  2. Raspberries + Strawberries + Orange slices + Springwater
  3. Blueberries + Raspberries + Splash of Lemon + Rosemary + Springwater
  4. Lemon + Lime + Orange + Sparkling spring water
  5. Peach slices + Blood Orange slices + Basil leaves + Springwater

Directions: To make your infusions, start with 2 glasses. Crush your ingredients in a 4-ounce glass of water.  Strain off the fruit mixture into the second glass and top off with more water.  Add ice if desired. OR: just let all of your ingredients steep overnight in a glass pitcher filled with water, and stir in the morning. Adjust all ingredients to your own taste.

Recommended:  drink a half-gallon of water before 12 noon, or 1/2 your body weight in ounces (for example, if you weight 160 pounds, drink 80 ounces.  That’s about 5 tall glasses-full ).  Enjoy.West Angeles LOGO

TIP: Check online drink menus for ingredient ideas.  Substitute sparkling or plain water for alcohol or sodas, and fresh fruit for sugary syrups and cordials (for example, our first infused water recipe is inspired by the Brazilian drink, the Caipirinha).
