Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake preaches a thought provoking sermon on his birthday, August 5, 2012. “Every person on Earth needs to number their days,” urges Bishop Blake, “and set goals as to where they want to be in their life.” Bishop Blake then goes to explain where he wanted to know what he wanted to do for the rest of his life by the time he was thirty. “And in 1968, the Spirit of the Lord saw fit to bring me to little church on Adams Boulevard and I’ve been here ever since.”
Ask yourself, “Where do I want to be?” Now is the time to write a schedule, make goals and stick to them. Proverbs 28:19 says, “write the vision and make it plain on tablets.” We stand on God’s word and believe that as soon as you put pen to parchment, God is going to shift and work in your life.
