SISTERS: These 25 Scriptures Will Give You Strength

We’re celebrating our Sisters! Read our list of  Scriptures which will keep you uplifted, and will remind you of who God says you are.

I’ve got a confession to make: I’m having a bad day. In fact, I’m having a bad week, and I’m just not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Even our nation may have lost the spirit of hope it once had; in fact, the entire world seems to be blanketed with evil and despair. And while we all seem to be bearing down under the weight of our world’s troubled soul, women seem to be particularly hard-pressed. We are constantly told by the world who we are, and who we are not. We’re told in the workplace what our limitations are. We’re told by the media what we should look like and how we should behave.  We’re told we’re too heavy, too thin, too old, too young, too sick, too tired. Not talented enough, not rich enough, not pretty enough, not adequate, not worthy…

When it becomes difficult for us to see past the limited image that the world has created of us, maybe it’s time that we remember to see ourselves in the image that God has created of us instead. We must remind ourselves to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), to “seek God’s face” (Psalm 105:4), and to remember to see ourselves through His eyes – not the world’s.

Be inspired and edified by the image of beauty, strength, power, and love that God has for us in the list of  25 Scriptures below:
