The West Angeles Women Affairs Organization
West Angeles’ lovely and gracious First Lady, Mrs. Mae Lawrence Blake, is the shining example for the women of West Angeles. She is the founder of the West Angeles Women Affairs Organization, which develops and promotes programs and services that enhance, encourage, enlighten, rejuvenate, and educate the total woman. The programs uplift women – and men as well – spiritually, physically, and mentally. Many of the fundraising activities of the organization contribute to the beautification of West Angeles Church.
Each year, the ladies of West Angeles Church enjoy an awe-inspiring event fittingly titled, A Day in May with Lady Mae. At this event, the First Lady will give her annual encouraging message to the Body of Christ.
A Day in May with Lady Mae is one of the church’s most highly-anticipated event. There, she will present a message that is timely and sprinkled with living examples and pearls of wisdom.
Affectionately called, “Lady Mae” by those who love her, and “My Secret Weapon” by Bishop Blake, Lady Mae is an anointed nurturer and master teacher. She serves at the helm of one of the foremost organizations within the life of West Angeles Church – The Women Affairs Organization.
