Does God Exist How Do We Know

TONIGHT: Please join us for a special Wednesday Night Bible Study as Dr. Wilfred Graves addresses recent controversial attacks on Christianity by exploring the basic principles upon which our faith rests.  Join us at 7:00 PM at the North Campus Sanctuary; read more below.

In this past Sunday’s sermon, Bishop Blake laid a firm foundation for many of the things that we believe as Christians. He argued for the historicity of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the truth of the Bible, the reality of heaven and hell and several other basic Christian claims.

If you heard Bishop’s message, then you will notice that he appealed to logic and thoughtful reasoning as he made his case for the truth of the gospel. This type of systematic, rational argumentation is known as apologetics. Apologetics is the discipline of defending a position through reason. Christian apologetics, then, is the formal defense of the Christian faith against doctrinal error, misrepresentation and various objections. More positively, it is the science and art of Christian persuasion. It attempts to show that the gospel message is true in what it affirms.

I would like to invite you to join us tonight at West Angeles’ North Campus for our midweek Bible Study service titled:

“Does God Exist? How Can We Know?”

Wednesday, May 9, 2018

West Angeles North Campus Sanctuary

3045 Crenshaw Blvd

Los Angeles, California 90016

7:00 PM

My passion is to help believers to understand the solid foundation upon which our faith is built. Unbelievers and seekers who attend tonight (or who watch online) will also have many of their questions answered in thoughtful and challenging ways.

High school and college students really need to hear this teaching as they continually face the challenges of a world which is becoming increasingly hostile to what they believe.

We hope to see you tonight at West Angeles!
