Family Christmas Craft Project: Make You Own Ornaments

Looking for a meaningful way to spend some of your down time  this Christmas season? Devote it to a Christmas craft project! Crafts are a great way to spend time with loved ones and friends, and it’s also a great way to spend  time with the children in your family.

Ornament-making is a great way to start your own Holiday tradition. Whether you’re spending Christmas with the family or away from your own loved ones, making ornaments is  a meaningful, relaxing way to reminisce, remember friends or special events, or honor special family moments.  Share them as gifts, or spread the Christmas Spirit by making them with those who are less fortunate.

It’s a project that’s simple and enjoyable to do – and a great way to recycle those special Christmas cards you receive each year.

  • Six (6) Old Christmas Cards
  • Paper or Craft Glue
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Compass (or Drinking Glass)
  • Ribbon

We’ve made our ornament with Christmas cards, but you can also use copies of old family photos, or print out some of those photos you’ve been storing on your phone.   Your hand-made ornament makes a great gift, or a great family keepsake for generations to come.west angeles logo
