Overcome Negative Circumstances And Negative Emotions – Bishop Charles E. Blake

, , ,

Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake speaks on dealing with Overcoming Negative Circumstances and Emotions we face each day.  Bishop Blake reveals to us how God can help us in all of our endeavours.

Bishop speaks on how people hated David:

  1. Saul Hated him
  2. His enemies hated him
  3. The Philistines Hated him.

Bishop Blake speaks on David’s emotions that he dealt with because of those around him.  Our circumstances will dictate our reactions to our situations.  He gives a great definition on “I AM”

There are several things we must consider about Negative Circumstances and Emotions:

1.) Those who know God know how to deal with the Emotions of life.

2.) We must create a rose garden in the middle of our Circumstances.

3.) We cannot be depressed about any Negative situation in our life.

There are four Keys to overcoming Negative Circumstances and Emotions

1.)We must love God. 2.)We must trust in God. 3.)We must call on God. 4.)We shall be saved.

As Christians Bishop compares us to David.  David was a true man of God.  He followed God’s plan.  Even though he was not perfect, David knew how to reverence God.  He dealt with a lot of negative circumstance and profound emotions.  David never doubted God in the midst of all of his emotions.  We must have the same want to worship and obey God such as David.  We must seek Him with all of our hearts.  We must rise above all negative Circumstance and Emotions to become what God  has designed for us.

This message is from Psalm 118:1-9

I will love You, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.

The pangs of death surrounded me,
And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me;
The snares of death confronted me.
In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.

Then the earth shook and trembled;
The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken,
Because He was angry.
Smoke went up from His nostrils,
And devouring fire from His mouth;
Coals were kindled by it.
He bowed the heavens also, and came down
With darkness under His feet.
